The work of the Tatar Party Archive to identify participants of the events of 1917–1920 is elucidated, as well as their memories and difficulties in preparing collections of documents on revolutionary topics, taking into account the transformation of ideas about the Russian revolution.

The innovations in the law of 2011 «On Archives and Records Management in the Republic of Belarus», which entered into force on October 27, 2022, are shown, including the concept of the term «document», which was legislated for the first time.

The terminological system of Russian records management and archives management is analyzed in connection with the improvement of archival legislation in the Republic of Belarus; the question of the need to introduce the concept of «document» into domestic legislation is raised.

The possibilities of the information system «Electronic Archive of the Tyumen region» for archival information retrieving (access to inventories, databases, ordering files, user work in the system) are demonstrated, the content posted by the archive on the Internet (exhibitions, publications, etc.) is presented.

The paper demonstrates the organization of work on creation of a thematic podcast, based on about 200 audio documents stored in the Central State Archive of Moscow, as well as the topics of weekly issues (there are about 40 of them) available on podcast platforms.

The work on the description of documents for F.M. Dostoevsky’s biography (his autographs) in the Manuscript Department, the Literary Museum and the Library of the IRLI RAS, the features of these sources and the possibility of their presentation in the database being created are shown.

The history and composition of the largest documentary collection of A.V. Anokhin in the Scientific Archive of the Peter the Great Museum of Anthropology and Ethnography of the Russian Academy of Sciences are elucidated; the proposals to create a digital archive of the scientist are supported.

The history of the Rodinsky district and its archive from the pre-war years, as well as the directions of its work, are shown.

The diary entries of B.L. Isachenko from the period of the Kara expedition from July 19 to October 15, 1933, during which a number of scientific tasks were completed and a shift of winterers was delivered to the Cape Chelyuskin polar station, are introduced into scientific circulation.
